Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Claim727 LLC ("Claim727," "we," "us," or "our") for your use of Cave Cals. By using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Cave Cals.
Food search
Food search is powered by the fatsecret Platform API. By using this feature, you agree to the fatsecret Platform API Terms of Use. Nutrition information and serving sizes may change; review the result before logging it.
The service
Cave Cals helps you record foods, calories, daily goals, and saved meals. AI photo, voice, and public-link import features provide estimates and are not medical, dietary, or professional advice. You are responsible for checking portions, calories, allergens, and other information before relying on or saving an estimate. Do not use Cave Cals for diagnosis, treatment, or an emergency.
Subscriptions and payments
Photo and voice logging share an introductory allowance of ten successful scans, available until you have logged 100 regular food entries. After either limit, further scans require Cave Cals+. This allowance does not require a purchase and is separate from any App Store subscription trial. Public-link imports require Cave Cals+.
Some AI features require an auto-renewable subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, a subscription renews automatically. Your Apple ID account is charged within 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings. Any eligible free trial or introductory offer and its conversion to a paid subscription are shown in Apple's purchase sheet. Unused portions of a free trial are forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies: Apple Standard EULA. Apple is the payment processor and marketplace provider for subscriptions.
Acceptable use
You may use Cave Cals only for lawful personal purposes. Do not reverse engineer, interfere with, abuse quotas, bypass access controls, submit malicious content, or use the service to violate another person's rights or applicable law.
Your content and permissions
You retain rights to content you provide. You grant Claim727 the limited rights needed to store, transmit, process, and return that content to provide the features you request. You are responsible for having permission to submit photos, recordings, and food information. The Privacy Policy explains processing and retention.
Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, including AI providers and free limits, at any time. We may block abusive or unauthorized use. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that estimates will be complete, accurate, or suitable for your circumstances.
Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cave Cals is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Claim727 will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of data, arising from your use of Cave Cals. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
Termination
You may stop using Cave Cals at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
